The City Authority, or more typically referred to as “The Authority” (though most of the time this phrase refers to the enforcing body the Bureau of Security contained within), is the governing and bureaucratic body of Cities¹.

Note: Though the structure is mostly similar between Cities, the specifics of each bureau only really apply for Dyon. For background writing, it’s safe to assume the Authority works the same way in all other cities, but just in case it ever becomes relevant, these systems aren’t one-for-one across all Cities.

The Mayor

The one individual with authority over the Authority. Although, this isn’t necessarily true, as each Mayor of a City has their own board of advisors from each of the Bureaus.
