West Association is a key player in the contractor industry. On top of being an Association competitive enough to compete with Ninth Association for contracts from Firmament Corporation, they also alone hold the patents for the manufacturing of solid ammo. This solid ammo is very expensive in comparison to the energy cells used in F Corp plasma weaponry, or the expensive, but still relatively cheap maintenance costs of Hall laser weaponry, but uniquely, they can be infused with Oneirum-based magicks. West contractors are commonly adorned in grays and silvers.

In West Association, contractors sign on and are cherry-picked for missions. Each contractor is solo unless the job puts them together on a team, or brought in for a joint operation.
